Our SMP Course is designed for anyone trying to offer SMP to prospective clients. This course will cover basic fundamentals of Scalp Micropigmentation and give you the skill set to create a new career path if you’re previous experienced in the beauty industry or not. Our intensive 3 day course covers everything you need to know to become a great Scalp Micropigmentation Artist. Our goal is to give you the skills and knowledge to take on clients confidently and get incredible results every procedure. We love what we do here and as full time SMP artists with hundreds of satisfied clients, we know what it takes to make a great artist.
About The Course:
This course is conducted at Scalp Therapy studio’s in Colorado Springs, CO. Our training consists of a maximum of 3 students. We firmly believe this to be a higher quality of learning as it will be more intimate than a larger class setting and offer more 1 on 1 time with our staff.
Students will be trained in everything from sanitary practices right through to advanced SMP techniques & creating natural hairlines.
Days 1 and 2 will include skin theory and machine work practice and day 3 working on live models, both Male and Female for some real world scalp micropigmentation experience. We work on a combination of different cases to give students as much experience as possible.
This course is best suited for students with a background in Cosmetic Tattooing but is not necessary. All students are required to receive their blood-borne pathogens safety certificate before commencing and must bring it in on your first day as proof of completion.
